Resolutions

Tomorrow when lawnmowers grow silencers,

when job offers line my inbox and G-string,

when cats go faux fur but remain seductive.

Tomorrow of bellicose massages and

plastic surgery for mild scoliosis,

the day hot but not from global warming.

Tomorrow I’ll write snitty little letters,

each one a complete oeuvre. Tomorrow

tight jeans but with no seams on the thighs.

Tomorrow not just action but action plus,

free and corrupt.
